Podcast Intros – FAQs

Q: What is a Podcast Intro?

A: If you have a podcast, we produce the music, voice and effects that are placed at the beginning, ending (or other) of the show to set the scene and inform and entertain your listeners.  We are the audio equivalent of the title sequence on your favourite television show.  Check out our DEMO page to hear examples of what we do.

Q: What is a STANDARD Podcast Intro?

A: This is our basic Podcast Intro… primarily it’s the music you select, with the words you provide voiced and produced together.  Just like a radio commercial introducing your show.

Q: What is an IMAGED Podcast Intro?

A: This is our premium Podcast Intro… our production team bring their years or radio imaging experience to the project.  We add sound fx, whooshes and bangs, maybe even vocal drops (“Check this out”… etc) to the music, words and voice you request.  The end result is in line with modern FM radio promo elements.  Please check our demo page for some examples.

Q: What is a Podcast COMMERCIAL?

A:  Exactly like a radio commercial.  They do tend to be around 15-30s in duration.  We’ve found the shorted the better… best to keep the show flowing without stopping down too obviously

Q: Can you produce other audio elements for me?

A:  Certainly.  If you need any audio related pieces (sweepers, bumpers, promos, segment intros etc) please ask.  We are more than happy to assist.  We can discuss the cost of such elements as they arise… but they won’t be expensive.

Q: What file format is it sent in?

A: We keep the file small in size and send as a 320kb mp3 file.

Q: What if I don’t like it?

A:  We are happy to work with you to resolve your concerns.  If it’s something we’ve mispronounced or erred with, we are more than happy to correct.

Q: How long does it take to produce a Podcast Intro?

A:  We aim to have your order produced within 2-3 days of the payment clearing.  Sometimes, it’s the same day.

Q: How do you send it to me?

A:  As the file is very small (normally under 1mb) we simply email you the finished product.  If you’d prefer it sending differently, please let us know – happy to help.
